Dylan was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014 and has exclusively practiced in criminal law since that time. He is a highly skilled and experienced solicitor advocate, regularly conducting his own sentences, trials, bail applications and appeals.
In 2022, Dylan was recognised as an accredited specialist in criminal law, also being nominated as the highest achiever in his year. The specialist accreditation program is the only formal recognition of specialisation by the Queensland Law Society, which is notoriously difficult to pass. Through this achievement, Dylan joined a very limited list of accredited specialists in criminal law in Queensland, who are often regarded as industry leaders. Dylan is also the only criminal law accredited specialist based in the Ipswich region.
Dylan enjoys being across daily changes in legislation and case law to provide his clients with expert advice and representation. He is particularly interested in the laws relating to evidence and a person’s rights during investigation.
His clients often comment that Dylan is hard working, caring, professional and goes above and beyond for them. Many of his clients were referred by previous clients who were extremely satisfied with his representation and their outcome.
No matter is too small, complex or unusual for Dylan. He is passionate about all aspects of criminal law and prides himself on developing creative and positive solutions for all of his clients.
